Compliments any type of poultry dish.

12 oz. fresh cranberries 1/2 c. honey 2-3 T. brown sugar, firmly packed 2 cinnamon sticks 6 whole cloves 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, freshly grated 3/4 c. orange juice 1 T. orange zest
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer, covered 5-10 min., stirring occasionally or until cranberries have burst and mixture has thickened. Pour sauce into a bowl and cool. Take out cinnamon sticks and cloves. Serve at room temperature. Sauce may be made 2 days in advance and kept covered and chilled. Makes 2 cups.
